Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
In cases of emergency or if you would prefer express shipping, please contact us so we can organise this for you.
An express shipping surcharge will be incurred as this is an additional service.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Orders with a value of AUD$99 or more receive FREE Shipping within Australia.
Orders under AUD$99 are charged a flat rate of AUD$8.95 within Australia.
Authority to Leave
Individual products which are shipped in postage satchels, are marked automatically for 'Authority to Leave' by couriers.
Shipment to P.O. boxes
After Birth Care primarily utilises couriers for delivery and therefore cannot ship to PO Boxes. In the event you require delivery to a PO Box, please contact us before placing your order to request delivery to a PO Box. Please note additional charges may apply and alternate shipping methods will be used.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
While we also have access to see your order tracking via Sendle, it is up to you to keep track of your order and to contact us via email if you have any queries.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
After Birth Care is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)
After Birth Care is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping and whilst in transit. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim. It is in your best interest to provide imagery of the damaged goods and\or packaging to expedite your claim.
We recommend purchasing your care kit before the postpartum period. It is the customers responsibility to familiarise themselves with delivery times prior to purchasing, especially in cases of remote Australian areas. Returns will not be accepted when goods arrive after intended period.
Returns will be accepted within ten (10) days of purchase, provided that the items are unopened, unused and are in a re-sellable condition. Due to the nature of some products, any item that is opened will not be eligible for return. We ask that the purchaser bear the postage cost for all returns.
Returns are not accepted if the purchaser has changed their mind.
Returns on individual items within kits are not accepted unless the item was received in an unsatisfactory state.
Late or Undelivered Items
Please allow up to two (2) business days after the expected delivery date for the postage provider to complete delivery. It is the purchaser's responsibility to specify the correct contact and delivery details. After Birth Care is not liable for the incorrect delivery of items where postage or contact details have been incorrectly specified by the purchaser.
If you have not received your item after the expected delivery date, please contact us within three (3) days after the expected delivery date so that we can ask our postage provider to launch an investigation. Failure to do so will mean that the purchaser is not eligible for a return or refund.
Refunds on items lost or items not delivered will only be accepted on these conditions:
- Purchaser has contacted After Birth Care within three (3) business days of the expected delivery date, located on the item's postage tracking page.
- Purchaser has allowed the postage provider time to investigate and attempt retrieval of the item.
- Delivery attempts have not already been made. e.g. Delivery has been attempted at the correct address and a collection card has been left.
International Shipping Policy
Shipping to New Zealand is available!
Various postal carriers will be used for shipping depending on the destination.
For everywhere else, we currently ship Internationally via request only as extra fees apply.
